What you will do

• Lead technical execution of development and production programs.
• Develop solutions and solve complex problems to deliver engineering projects on-time and on-budget.
• Plan, authorize, and monitor engineering work, providing strong leadership to teams.
• Oversee performance, cost, scope, and schedule for all engineering efforts, including subcontracted work.
• Account for the technical content of bid and proposal activities, including WBS structure and cost estimation.
• Identify, develop, analyze, and report engineering project performance measures.

Requirements

• Technical leadership experience with 5-10 member teams.
• Excellent oral presentation, communication, writing, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage and maintain the engineering team's focus on budget, schedule, and technical execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools and Microsoft Project.
• Demonstrated knowledge of project leadership principles, including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, and Cost Account Management (CAM).
• U.S. nationality is required, and candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with nine years’ experience.
• DoD Secret or higher security clearance.
• Development or production experience with DoD software defined radios.
