What you will do
- Lead a team to deliver high-impact outcomes on complex projects, focusing on team performance and execution.
- Improve and evolve the Retail Classic experience for merchants, covering checkout flows, analytics, and loyalty programs.
- Translate complex business objectives into clear, actionable solutions, integrating AI and emerging technologies.
- Develop and communicate holistic design strategies grounded in quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Guide teams in defining foundational components and evolving the design system to ensure quality and consistency.
- Provide mentorship, foster a high-performing team culture, oversee project delivery, and manage workload.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in a people management role on a Design team.
- Foundational design-related education (Bachelor of Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, Industrial Design, or Communication).
- Applied experience within the retail industry with strong service design foundations.
- Experience with Agile design sprint methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Fluency with product, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Google Suite, and Miro.
- Excellent communication and data visualization skills.
