Salary: $220,000-250,000

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of new storage features and approaches for ONTAP and all hirify.global’s storage systems.
• Analyze existing systems and code paths to drive strategic initiatives.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, conducting code reviews and providing feedback.
• Work closely in cross-functional and cross-BU teams to deliver groundbreaking intelligent storage solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the company.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in designs and code.

Requirements

• Highly skilled in C/C++, competent in Python, and able to pick up new languages as necessary.
• Deep understanding of file systems, advanced data structures and algorithms, and current and emerging workloads.
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and kernel development.
• Top notch problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with ONTAP or similar storage operating systems.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and network protocols.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
