Python Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote options in Poland, Portugal (including Porto), Romania, Spain, and UAE. Office locations in Dubai, Krakow, and Madrid.

Salary: PLN28,300–PLN40,000 gross monthly (Krakow and Poland)

What you will do

• Create new user-friendly digital features using Python and Django.
• Write scalable and easily maintainable code adhering to high standards.
• Support multi-tenancy while ensuring adequate security and data isolation.
• Refactor and optimise existing implementations.
• Create new reusable software components for the platform.
• Promote product quality by identifying bugs and issues before customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with 3+ years of engineering experience with Python as your primary language.
• Academic background in a STEM subject.
• Fluency in Python, SQL, and other OOPLs.
• Experience with Django framework.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Practical understanding of distributed systems.
• Ability to write concurrent code in IO/CPU bound situations.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, CI, monitoring, and alerting.

Nice to have

• Experience with prototyping and sketching.
• Multiple side projects or open source contributions.
• Exposure to GCP.
• Experience with web projects or SaaS platforms.
