Senior User Researcher

TL;DR

Senior User Researcher: Building and improving user-centered practices and services with an accent on GDS design principles and inclusive research methods for the UK Public sector. Focus on aligning research activities with service propositions and developing other user researchers.

Location: Hybrid working model, requires full right to work in the UK and eligibility for Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Implement user-centred practices within new teams and align research with wider service propositions.
• Carry out user research and supervise, develop, and assure the practice of other user researchers.
• Advocate for inclusive practices and help teams design and deliver accessible services for diverse users.
• Apply a wide range of primary and secondary user research methods to gather insights.
• Analyse and synthesise research data, drawing out key findings and tailoring presentations for different audiences.
• Understand the social, technological context, and strategic goals of projects to inform decision making.

Requirements

• 4+ years of User Research experience.
• Experience working to GDS design principles or equivalent standards in the UK Public sector.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Eligible for Security Clearance.
• Ability to work within a hybrid working model.
