What you will do

• Coordinate with stakeholders to investigate suspected merchants using internal and external data sources.
• Perform in-depth investigations of merchant setups, including periodic portfolio reviews, to identify non-compliance with scheme regulations.
• Provide timely responses to internal and external queries through the ticketing system.
• Follow up on pending scheme compliance issues and perform investigations on new and ongoing cases.
• Generate detailed investigation reports, highlighting risks, impact, and proposed solutions.
• Implement new processes/controls to ensure compliance with scheme regulations.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance/Statistics/Actuarial/Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce Payments and Fintech and/or in banking/ financial services (risk/compliance department) would be preferred.
• Good understanding of the payment landscape in the Europe region.
• Solution-driven approach, with exemplary problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present analysis and recommendations in a succinct manner.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
