What you will do

• Champion developer experience by designing and implementing tools, frameworks, and platforms that empower engineering teams.
• Build and maintain internal developer platforms, including CI/CD pipelines and self-service infrastructure tools.
• Design and implement highly typed systems using TypeScript across the entire stack.
• Create comprehensive documentation for platform services, APIs, and development workflows.
• Lead serverless and cloud-native initiatives, leveraging AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other managed services.
• Establish and enforce platform standards including code quality metrics, security policies, and architectural patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of platform engineering experience building developer platforms and internal tools.
• Expert-level TypeScript proficiency.
• Strong fundamentals in developer experience.
• Proven ability to articulate technical direction and platform strategies.
• Deep expertise in cloud and serverless architectures, particularly AWS services.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure as code using TypeScript-based tools like AWS CDK, Pulumi, or similar.
• Strong background in API design, including GraphQL, REST, gRPC, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with mono-repo management and tooling (Nx, Turborepo, Rush).
• Track record of building platform teams, fostering a culture of innovation and developer-centricity.
