What you will do

• Build and maintain hirify.global's endpoint services as part of an agile development team.
• Design, develop, and test new product ideas from the ground up.
• Partner with frontend and backend teams and product management for feedback and input.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Experience designing and building high-impact, high-performance, scalable, observable, and maintainable backend services and APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of C and C++ (Systems Languages).
• Experience developing for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
• Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to balance rapid development with long-term code maintainability and supportability.
• Belief in and practice of writing automated tests as part of development.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with metrics-driven development (e.g., Prometheus).
• Experience building data processing pipelines for real-time data.
