TL;DR

Manual Tester (Banking): Joining the QA team to focus on banking applications, particularly in payments and SWIFT areas, with an accent on test planning, execution, and defect management. Focus on analyzing business requirements, designing and executing manual test cases for end-to-end payment flows, and ensuring compliance with banking standards.

Location: This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be based in one of the preferred locations: Gdynia, Warszawa, Gdańsk, or Łódź, Poland, and be able to work 3 days from the office.

What you will do

• Analyze business and functional requirements for banking and payment systems.
• Design and execute manual test cases for end-to-end payment flows, including SWIFT message validation.
• Perform regression, integration, and system testing across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance.
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
• Validate data integrity and transaction accuracy across systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing, preferably in the banking domain.
• Solid understanding of payment systems, SWIFT messaging, and transaction processing.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 20022 or MT/MX SWIFT formats.
• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
