What you will do
- Provide in-depth integration support and technical expertise for Dolby Vision enabled ecosystems to Pay TV, TV Networks, and Streaming partners.
- Evangelize Dolby Vision to customers in sales and technical meetings, acting as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product management teams to resolve technical challenges and improve Dolby tools.
- Develop a deep understanding of partner requirements and gather insights into media processing trends.
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers and at industry conferences.
- Attend trade shows, seminars, conferences, and educational events to promote technologies and examine new markets.
Requirements
- BSEE or similar degree (Physics, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) and 4+ years of experience in professional imaging, Broadcast, OTT Streaming, or post-production.
- 5-7+ years of direct experience in Applications Engineering and/or other technical customer support.
- 5-7+ years experience coding in C and/or C++, plus expertise with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash).
- Experience with video codecs and compression standards (AV1, H.264, H.265, HEVC) and HDR video.
- Working knowledge of Streaming, Broadcast, and head-end technologies, media processing, and video workflow architectures.
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing and at least three of the following areas: QC workflows, software development, system engineering and integration, technology licensing, imaging color science, video post-production tools, or image quality assessment.
