Infra Devops Team Lead

TL;DR

Infra Devops Team Lead: Leading a team of Infra DevOps Engineers, designing and building infrastructure systems for the fastest NoSQL clusters on earth with an accent on cloud group, creating and supporting the entire development and deployment process. Focus on utilizing open-source tools and leveraging automation to improve speed and reach.

Location: Hybrid (Tel-Aviv, Israel)

What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of infra DevOps developers focused on a large-scale, distributed cloud system.
• Actively participate in development, including coding, code reviews, and architectural decision-making.
• Lead the design and prioritization of new features and enhancements, emphasizing clean and highly efficient code.
• Work closely with Product, DevOps, Architects, and other R&D teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Drive the technology roadmap and project timeline.
• Partner with the hirify.global R&D and Cloud Operations teams to design, build, and maintain essential tools that streamline their operations.

Requirements

• 3 + years of management experience leading technical teams
• 7 + years of coding experience in high-level languages
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure services.
• Experience with Kubernetes, micro services, and ecosystem (Helm, kustomize, Istio, CSI, GKE, EKS…)
• Experience using CI/CD (Jenkins, Flux, ArgoCD)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CrossPlane) and configuration management
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience with configuration as code (Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet….).
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions at the architectural understanding level.
• Have participated in an end-to-end big data and/or large-scale performance challenge.
