Platform Engineer (DevOps)

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the build and CI systems of hirify.global Enterprise.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize development pipelines and improve the overall developer experience.
• Drive innovative solutions and processes within the platform engineering team.
• Continuously improve the security posture of hirify.global.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of distributed systems, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Optimize alerting and monitoring systems to maintain high availability and quick response times.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working on infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud related domains.
• Experience with build systems (CMake, make).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with containerization technologies and concepts (Docker).
• Experience using and maintaining CI/CD tools (Github Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools and configuration management.

Nice to have

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with alerting and monitoring systems (Prometheus, ELK, Splunk).
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with a high-level programming language.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (especially hirify.global).
