TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (AWS/CDK): Leading the adoption and migration of existing applications to Productized Building Blocks, with an accent on orchestrating infrastructure faster, easier, and more secure using CDK Constructs and AWS primitives. Focus on building experience on usage and migration strategies, collaborating with teams, and ensuring adherence to new security standards for greenfield and brownfield software.

Location: Hybrid, requiring office presence in The Hague, Netherlands

What you will do

  • Identify and prioritize eligible teams and applications for Productized Building Blocks adoption.
  • Collaborate with teams to determine the best migration approach for their applications.
  • Build and share expertise on Productized Building Blocks usage and migration strategies.
  • Lead migration efforts by providing knowledge of Productized Building Blocks and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Ensure all eligible applications are migrated to Productized Building Blocks by the end of 2026.

Requirements

  • English: B2+ required
  • 3–5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Experience in redesigning application infrastructure and architecture.
  • Proficiency in the AWS ecosystem, including CloudFormation, CDK, and Serverless stack.
  • Fluent in TypeScript, used for Infrastructure as Code.
  • DevOps (CI/CD) expertise, with Azure DevOps as the primary platform.
  • Understanding of the full software deployment lifecycle and the impact of infrastructure code changes.
  • CDK experience, specifically with CDK Level 2.5 constructs.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of other Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, Serverless Framework).
