Senior DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (ANOW Automate): Maintaining and supporting integration platform for automating, orchestrating, and streamlining application and data workflows with an accent on high availability, lifecycle management, and architectural compliance. Focus on supporting users, running POCs, maintaining agents, performing vendor roll-outs, and improving self-service experiences.

Location: Hybrid Utrecht (NL). Must be located in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the EU and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. Unable to consider candidates requiring relocation from another country.

Salary: €4,931 - €7,043 gross monthly (scale 09, 36-hour week)

What you will do

• Support ANOW Automate users with hands-on guidance and issue resolution.
• Perform lifecycle management (LCM), roll out new vendor releases, and maintain 256 ANOW agents.
• Run POCs to validate platform capabilities against business requirements.
• Ensure platform conforms to hirify.global architectural principles and standards for high availability.
• Improve self-service experiences through documentation and examples.
• Participate in 24/7 support rotation and bottom-up decision making.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in relevant area.
• Strong experience with automation (ANOW Automate advantage).
• Proficient with Linux and/or Windows utilities, monitoring, and diagnostic tools.
• Good experience with Scrum/Agile, Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, APIs (Kong), and cloud.
• Clear communication skills in English (preferred Dutch).
