What you will do

• Own and evolve core payment systems
• Drive technical architecture and design decisions
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and external partners
• Lead complex projects from technical discovery and design through implementation, rollout, and ongoing optimization
• Identify opportunities for improvement and deliver solutions
• Help the team improve by providing feedback on pull requests, mentoring, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Strong experience with PHP, Symfony, MySQL, and Docker
• Ability to solve large and complex problems and deliver solutions from requirements gathering to monitoring performance in production
• Ability to ensure the quality of delivered work and cover code changes with meaningful automated tests
• Experience integrating 3rd party providers
• Experience with monitoring application performance
• Ability to use AI to improve productivity

Nice to have

• Experience with Temporal
• Familiarity with React (used for internal tools)
• Knowledge of Laravel (legacy monolith)
• Willingness to learn .NET
