What you will do

• Architect and enhance CI/CD tooling and workflows for Android development.
• Develop custom productivity tools such as CLIs and Gradle plugins.
• Contribute to platform-level architecture initiatives like Compose Multiplatform.
• Design and implement observability and code-health insights across the Android platform.
• Contribute to our Compose-first design system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer experience and productivity.

Requirements

• "Platform Engineering" mindset.
• Knowledge of Kotlin & Compose.
• Willingness to work on build tooling.
• Gradle experience and knowledge.
• Pragmatism (simplicity, efficiency, performance).
• Desire for quality and testing.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
• Good communication in English (B2 required).
• Must be based within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub (London, Boston, Barcelona, Berlin, Zurich).
