What you will do

• Take co-ownership of the entire Android codebase, toolchain, and development process.
• Collaborate with design, product management, and cross-platform engineering teams (Android/iOS).
• Drive architectural decisions and maintain high code quality through knowledge sharing and code reviews.
• Create spatially aware user experiences for manufacturing clients worldwide using visual positioning technology.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Android development experience with strong skills in Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, Jetpack Compose, and Jetpack libraries.
• Solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Quality-driven mindset with experience in TDD/BDD and mobile testing (JUnit, Espresso).
• Expertise in full SDLC ownership and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins).
• Proficiency in agentic AI coding to shape team-wide workflows and optimize token efficiency.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Munich, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARCore, game engines, or 3D rendering frameworks.
