Engineering Manager (GameDev): Leading and supporting a localization tech engineering team to deliver cutting-edge systems for dialogue authoring and pipelines, and supporting related Unreal Engine systems. Focus on fostering growth, maintaining core technical features, and optimizing pipelines for multiple AAA projects.

Location: Hybrid: working from our Warsaw office. Relocation package and assistance provided for moving to Poland.

Salary: 39 800 – 54 670 PLN gross monthly.

What you will do

• Lead and support a Localization Tech engineering team.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and cross-functional departments.
• Foster growth within the development team and nurture technical talent.
• Develop and maintain core technical features and pipelines (Dialogue authoring, content, and related Unreal Engine systems).
• Optimize and debug features and pipelines in collaboration with QA.
• Ensure alignment across teams (designers, writers, QA, etc.) to deliver cohesive experiences.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working in Unreal Engine, ideally on AA or AAA projects.
• Direct experience working on video game Dialogue authoring tools and pipelines.
• Proven experience leading a development team of around 7 members or similar scale.
• Credited on at least one shipped AA or AAA title in a lead or management role.
• Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine 5.
• Strong working proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Nice to have

• Experience with relational databases.
• Experience with gRPC.
• Experience in C# and .NET.
