TL;DR

Senior Animation TD (Cyberpunk): Designing, creating, testing, and maintaining asset rigs for high-quality animation technology with an accent on motion and deformation systems development. Focus on researching new techniques and workflows to improve animation pipelines and solving complex technical challenges with creativity and strategic thinking.

Location: Primarily Office-First in Warsaw, Poland. For selected roles, remote work from within Europe may be considered. Relocation to Poland is preferred and supported.

Salary: 23 700 – 37 455 PLN gross monthly

What you will do

• Design, create, test, and maintain asset rigs.
• Collaborate with character artists, vehicles team, and technical animators to solve animation issues and consult on design.
• Develop and maintain motion and deformation systems.
• Research and test new techniques and workflows to improve animation pipelines.
• Write pipeline tools to streamline setup processes.
• Coordinate with leads and production to estimate and plan work.

Requirements

• Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in a similar position within the movie, broadcast, or gaming industries.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong technical and creative skills is required. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Animation and rigging experience in Maya and Motion Builder across diverse asset types.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 and procedural animation system development.
• Experience in tool development and automation using C++ and/or Python.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics to varied audiences.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with machine learning systems.
• Experience with Epic’s Metahuman workflow and pipeline.
