What you will do
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines with robust lineage and observability.
- Ingest and harmonize data from structured, semi-structured, and external sources into a unified data layer.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into measurable data outcomes.
- Design and optimize data models in Snowflake (and BigQuery where applicable) for performance and maintainability.
- Influence data platform and cloud infrastructure decisions, emphasizing reliability and scalability.
- Institute data quality, monitoring, and governance frameworks across pipelines to ensure trustworthiness.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Data or Analytics Engineering.
- Proficient SQL and Python capabilities.
- Hands-on Snowflake experience with data modeling and performance tuning.
- Recent hands-on AWS experience (GCP/Azure acceptable with strong fundamentals).
- Production experience with Airflow and dbt.
- Strong ETL/ELT and data warehousing expertise.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating external data sources and APIs (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM environments (e.g., Jira).
