What you will do

• Support the Communications team with production work, including drafting pitches, editing press releases, building targeted media lists, and tracking coverage.
• Participate in story-mining and brainstorms, contributing insights on the news cycle, timely angles, and data-driven ideas.
• Master core PR tools and tactics such as media databases, monitoring/measurement platforms, and briefing preparation.
• Collaborate with managers and mentors to run efficient announcement workflows, managing timelines, cross-functional approvals, and reporter briefings.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or final year student in Communications, Public Relations, English, or a similar field.
• Availability to be in-office in San Francisco during June and parts of August for mandatory in-office days.
• Possess a "figure-it-out" mentality, unafraid to ask questions or seek solutions independently.
• Knowledge of the current media landscape, including traditional journalists, podcasters, and substacks.
• English: B2 required.
