Location: Hybrid in New York, NY. Required attendance in-office 3-4 days per week, including Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Salary: $250,000–$310,000 + target equity + benefits.

What you will do

• Model AI-first design using tools like Claude Code, v0, and Figma to prototype faster.
• Partner on company-wide AI initiatives, ensuring design shapes intuitive, human-centered AI-powered experiences.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers across multiple mission-driven squads.
• Define and drive the design vision and strategy for Expansion in close partnership with Product and Engineering leadership.
• Ensure high-quality execution across the full design process, from research to delivery.
• Champion customer empathy by driving research that surfaces insights and shapes product direction.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design/UX/UI, with at least 2+ years in a people management role.
• Proven ability to guide end-to-end product design and influence cross-functional partners, including executive leadership.
• Hands-on excellence with AI tools (Claude Code, v0, Figma) and a clear point of view on the role AI plays in product.
• Genuine passion for empowering small business owners, with deep empathy for their needs.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting direction in complex product areas.
• Must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and operate in a hybrid environment.
