Backend Engineer (Golang)

What you will do

• Design, prototype, and implement features and tools, ensuring stability and usability.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, and engineering teams.
• Debug and resolve medium-level bugs to maintain product quality.
• Review technical contributions and suggest architectural improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations, pairing, and team planning sessions.
• Mentor team members, enhancing their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as an engineer working in Golang.
• Professional experience developing with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience working with distributed systems, particularly cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security.
• Experience in reviewing & refactoring code and writing tests that cover complex and edge cases.
• Cloud-native mindset and a solid understanding of DevOps principles in a cloud environment.
• Ability to work without current or future visa sponsorship in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience using HashiCorp products (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).
• Prior experience working in cloud platform engineering teams.
