What you will do

• Understand business processes, risks, and controls, focusing on assessing and documenting risks and controls for new offerings and initiatives.
• Drive risk and control assessments, including documentation of process narratives, flows, and control definitions within a GRC tool.
• Conduct detailed walkthroughs and inspection testing to determine control effectiveness, identify gaps, and propose recommendations.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations for daily control monitoring capabilities to ensure compliance with risk policies.
• Lead and shape functional strategy with proactive strategic initiative development leveraging AI.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to grow their skills and capabilities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant business experience including Risk, Finance, Compliance, or Audit within a fintech, payment processing, lending, or online banking operations organization.
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in STEM, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Proficient experience with R, Python, and advanced SQL skills and visualization tools such as Quicksight or Tableau.
• Proficient experience with AI.
• Clear understanding of risk and controls management, monitoring, testing, and/or model validation methodologies.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence decision makers and build consensus.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence models (theory and application).
• Experience in Fintech with a focus on risk and controls from a money movement perspective.
