What you will do

• Own delivery for significant features or systems from requirements to execution and iteration.
• Build and maintain reliable services and workflows supporting AI features in production.
• Define and automate quality measurements, including success metrics, test strategy, and evaluation.
• Run structured experiments, interpret results, and translate learnings into product improvements.
• Improve operational readiness through deployment automation, monitoring, incident follow-up, and performance/cost optimizations.
• Mentor teammates through design feedback, code reviews, and practical guidance.

Requirements

• 6+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years shipping production software in product teams.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design.
• Hands-on coding in Python and/or TypeScript, APIs/services, and data pipelines.
• Cloud experience, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
• Solid working knowledge of modern AI application building and evaluation, with strong learning speed.

Nice to have

• Experience with GenAI/LLM concepts: prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, evaluation pipelines, fine-tuning, embeddings, and vector search.
• Proficiency in LLMOps, including experiment tracking, prompt/version control, and cost/latency optimization.
• Familiarity with serverless AWS, LangChain/LangGraph, OpenAI/Anthropic/Azure OpenAI, and vector DBs (Pinecone/FAISS/Milvus).
• External contributions such as open-source projects, blogs, or talks.
