What you will do

• Design and develop machine learning and deep learning models and systems for consumer-facing applications like search, ranking, and recommendations.
• Create metrics and design A/B test plans to evaluate model performance and convey impacts to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams on architecture, design, and code implementations.
• Analyze and produce insights from large amounts of dynamic structured and unstructured data using modern big data technologies.
• Produce reusable code and conduct peer code reviews according to standard methodologies in Python.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in CS/Statistics/Data Science, specializing in machine learning.
• Industry work experience in designing and implementing large-scale search retrieval and ranking models.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial machine learning products from conception to production.
• Proficiency with Python and ML frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, MLlib.
• Experience in developing various ML models using structured and unstructured data.
• Industry experience in A/B testing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with modern ML tech stacks, Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud services like AWS for machine learning development and deployment.

• Experience in developing personalized search systems.
• Experience with LLM applied in search or recommendation systems.
• Experience in standard methodologies for large-scale DL training/Inference.
