Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Primarily based in Berlin, Germany, with flexibility to work from abroad for up to 90 days worldwide.

What you will do

• Own reliability outcomes, including availability, latency, and error rates.
• Define and introduce SLOs and error budgets to establish clear reliability targets.
• Guide engineering teams with designs and best practices to ensure reliability and stability.
• Build and evolve observability across metrics, logs, and traces.
• Eliminate operational toil by building reliability tooling and automation.
• Lead and continuously improve incident management processes and blameless postmortems.

Requirements

• Strong sense of ownership for production health, proactively driving improvements.
• Ability to establish and evolve SLO-driven reliability practices.
• Hands-on experience with the Grafana stack (Prometheus, Grafana Alloy, Loki, Tempo).
• Experience designing and significantly improving monitoring and observability architectures.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes workloads, networking, and Google Cloud environments.
• Understanding of the OpenTelemetry protocol.
• Strong communication skills in English are required.
