QA Engineer (Igaming): Supporting day-to-day quality assurance activities for a customer-facing motor insurance product, contributing to the development and improvement of automation across both web and mobile platforms with an accent on shaping and maintaining the squad’s test automation approach. Focus on delivering high-quality, timely updates across quote-to-buy journeys, mobile applications, and customer portal features.

Location: Liverpool City Centre HQ / Hybrid (3 days in office)

Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 Depending on experience

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright (web) following established framework standards.
• Write reliable, maintainable automation scripts aligned with squad needs and wider QA guidelines.
• Execute automated tests within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot failures.
• Perform mobile testing across iOS and Android using BrowserStack, TestFlight, and Intune.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to ensure requirements are testable and understood.
• Track and report quality metrics (defect leakage, automation coverage) with guidance from QA Lead/Tech Lead.

Requirements

• Experience of Automated test suites e.g. Playwright (web)
• Knowledge of BrowserStack, Testflight, and Intune for mobile testing would be desirable
• Demonstrable knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines
• Skilled in Functional, Regression, Integration and cross-browser testing
• Experience in defining and tracking quality metrics
• Applicants who have at least one year remaining on their Graduate or Post-Study Work visa can be considered.
