Salary: £45,000–£50,000

What you will do

• Lead and contribute to testing activities throughout the SDLC for hirify.global iPlayer and Sounds.
• Develop innovative application features and perform integrations across TV devices.
• Enhance the TV platform powering iPlayer and hirify.global Sounds.
• Demonstrate audience advocacy and ensure delivery of high-quality experiences.
• Actively participate in fostering a collaborative culture through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Requirements

• Experience in testing Web/Mobile and/or TV platforms/devices.
• Experience in testing non-functional aspects including performance, load, accessibility, and automation, specifically with Playwright.
• Experience working in multi-discipline agile teams (sprints, scrum).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with writing automation tests.

Nice to have

• Proven ability to test, deploy, and support software in complex, high-volume, high-performance environments.
• Proven track record of coaching more junior team members.
• Actively embracing aspects of extreme programming such as pair programming, TDD, and CI.
• Ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into suitable system designs.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies, such as EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, AWS Lambda.
• Strong stakeholder management.
