Strategy Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Strategy Manager (Fintech): Leads the Strategic Alignment & Execution pillar, working closely with the C-suite and Board to translate high-level strategy into operational reality with an accent on driving annual planning, setting objectives/KPIs, and managing Board-level communications. Focus on acting as an internal consultant for strategy & ops projects, identifying growth opportunities and efficiencies to help hirify.global scale across emerging markets.

Location: Hybrid. Must be based in Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, London, Madrid, or Barcelona.

What you will do

• Lead the company’s annual and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring alignment across Finance, Product, Commercial, and Ops.
• Drive end-to-end objective setting and KPI tracking to maintain organizational focus on top priorities.
• Maintain the rhythm of executive meetings, ensuring clear decisions and rigorous follow-up.
• Own the production of high-quality Board materials and executive readouts.
• Support the C-level with preparation and action tracking for Board meetings and strategic off-sites.
• Lead high-impact growth and efficiency projects, including organizational design and workflow optimization.
• Partner with Tech and Product to automate KPI reporting and recurring analytics.
• Act as a cross-functional bridge to ensure strategic decisions are measurable and stick.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, in-house corporate strategy, or a former Chief of Staff role at a high-growth tech/fintech company.
• Possess a "Builder & Doer" mentality with high systems-level thinking.
• Exceptional ability to turn ambiguous questions into clear frameworks and executive-grade narratives.
• Comfortable interacting with and influencing C-level executives and Board members.
• Methodical and organized with strong attention to detail in managing complex data and timelines.
• Automation mindset with the ability to spot process bottlenecks and implement tooling/integrations.
• Fluent in English (mandatory).
