Salary: $200–$6,000 per month (commission-based).

What you will do

  • Launch and grow pop culture programming, producing, promoting, and selling tickets using creative marketing tactics.
  • Curate food-led experiences, including tastings, pop-ups, chef collaborations, and immersive dining concepts.
  • Identify and select chefs, venues, and concepts based on a deep understanding of local food scenes and trends.
  • Build and maintain relationships with chefs, restaurants, food collectives, and hospitality groups.
  • Collaborate with other Sofar Producers and the Global Communities team to uphold standards and shape culinary initiatives.
  • Ensure high-quality guest experiences, track profitability, and support financial performance of culinary programming.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in events, hospitality, restaurant operations, catering, experiential marketing, or live event production.
  • Deep connection to your city’s food and cultural scene, including chefs, restaurants, and neighborhoods.
  • Experience organizing or working on culinary experiences (dinners, tastings, pop-ups).
  • Maintain a growing network of chefs, restaurateurs, culinary creatives, and hospitality partners.
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of driving ticket sales, brand visibility, and audience growth.
  • Highly organized, an excellent communicator, and skilled at managing multiple moving parts.
  • Candidates must be based in New York, NY.
