QA Engineer (Internship)

TL;DR

QA Engineer (Internship): Supporting testing activities across web-based and API applications with an accent on functional, regression, and exploratory testing. Focus on identifying, documenting, and verifying defects, and contributing to quality releases within an Agile Scrum framework.

Location: Hybrid in Krakow, Poland (at least 2 days/week in office required)

Salary: 32-36 PLN per hour

What you will do

• Execute manual test cases and support functional, regression, and exploratory testing activities.
• Assist in reviewing requirements and preparing detailed test scenarios and supporting documentation.
• Identify, document, and verify defects across lower environments.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and learn the full software development lifecycle.
• Support API testing and validation tasks as needed.
• Gain a foundational understanding of automation frameworks and contribute to basic automation tasks under guidance.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Foundational understanding of software development or testing concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
• Ability to work hybrid in the Kraków office at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C#).
• Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and database concepts.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Interest in QA automation tools, frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud computing, and AI.
