Senior Compliance Engineer (AI)

Location: Hungary (Virtual Office). The team is distributed across Ireland, Hungary, the United States, and Canada.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of automated evidence collection systems to reduce manual effort and improve audit readiness.
• Develop and maintain policy-as-code solutions that codify compliance requirements and enable automated validation of controls.
• Contribute to AI compliance initiatives, including knowledge management systems and assistance tools.
• Apply deep understanding of security and compliance frameworks to analyze requirements, identify control gaps, and design solutions that meet audit requirements.
• Develop and maintain integrations between tools and internal GRC services that support compliance operations and workflows.
• Manage automation projects, ensuring proper tracking, prioritization, and delivery of initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in compliance engineering, security engineering, or software development.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and AWS services (Lambda, S3, Step Functions, IAM).
• Python programming skills with experience in automation and integration development.
• Demonstrated ability to translate compliance requirements into technical implementations.
• Deep understanding of security and compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001 and/or PCI DSS.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML technologies applied to compliance or security use cases.
• Knowledge of AWS Bedrock, vector databases, or RAG systems.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
