What you will do

• Design and develop blockchain-based applications and system architectures.
• Implement, test, and maintain smart contracts (e.g., on Ethereum or comparable platforms).
• Integrate blockchain solutions into existing backend systems and application landscapes.
• Develop APIs and interfaces between blockchain networks and internal applications.
• Analyze security requirements and ensure the integrity, transparency, and traceability of transactions.
• Evaluate emerging Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) and bring innovative ideas into the organization.
• Collaborate closely with Development and IT teams to deliver scalable and production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing blockchain-based applications.
• Hands-on experience in smart contract development (e.g., Solidity).
• Familiarity with common blockchain platforms such as Ethereum or Hyperledger.
• Strong knowledge of at least one backend programming language (e.g., C#, Python, Go, Rust, or JavaScript/Node.js).
• Solid understanding of cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized architectures.
• Structured, analytical, and security-focused work approach.
• Confident communication in German and/or English (B2 required).

Nice to have

• Experience with Web3 technologies and wallet integrations.
• Knowledge of tokenization concepts or NFT standards.
• Experience in supply chain tracking or digital identity solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerization.
• Experience conducting or supporting smart contract security audits.
