What you will do

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features, from technical design and estimation through deployment and support.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Design and implement robust data models, automation, and configuration that scale with growing volume and complexity.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and design reviews to maintain high code quality, security, and reliability.
• Support operational excellence through on-call rotations, triaging production issues, and root cause analysis.
• Mentor IC3 and contractor developers on Salesforce engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer with a deep understanding of core Salesforce platform concepts (Apex, LWC, Flows, security/sharing, release management).
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions in Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
• Strong experience building and operating integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware, or ETL tooling.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and design patterns, including testable architectures and scalability considerations.
• Experience working in a product-aligned engineering team, partnering with PMs and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with modern engineering practices including version control (Git/GitHub), code review, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, particularly in complex, distributed environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain tradeoffs and technical approaches.
• Must be based in the US due to US-specific benefits (e.g., 401k, HSA, E-Verify) and core hours alignment (EST or similar).

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or multi-org Salesforce environments.
• Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with internal platforms or AI/automation tooling (e.g., LLM/AI assistants).

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Service Cloud Consultant.
