What you will do
- Build, configure, and support solutions for finance-related enterprise applications based on defined requirements.
- Execute system enhancements, data flows, and integrations utilizing APIs, platform-native tools, and object-oriented programming (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
- Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert to technical and non-technical peers, troubleshooting challenging issues and leading technical enablement.
- Assist in ensuring solutions meet compliance and security standards, addressing audit and assurance tasks.
- Participate in quality assurance processes including testing, deployment, and incident management.
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams, shaping backlog priorities and making informed tradeoffs to meet business objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in enterprise applications engineering or a related area, with exposure to finance platforms.
- Proficient with accounting and compliance concepts (e.g., ASC 606, SOX).
- Commensurate experience with programming (JavaScript or similar), system scripting, and data integrations.
- Hands-on experience supporting ERP, AP, Expense, or Billing system enhancements.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks and team-based software development methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
