What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Claims BI products, acting as the Claims Product Owner.
• Design and build clear, actionable Power BI dashboards, utilizing DAX and SQL.
• Collaborate with Claims teams and senior leaders to understand needs, present insights, and agree on actions.
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts, setting goals and developing their skills in BI, data modelling, and testing.
• Establish and monitor data quality controls for claims data feeding reports, and partner with data owners to resolve defects.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering BI/MI, ideally within the insurance sector.
• Strong technical skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) and data manipulation (e.g., SQL, DAX, Python).
• Experience in team leadership, including coaching analysts and setting delivery standards.
• Ability to gather and document requirements and translate them into build plans.
• Clear, concise communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working (backlog, stand-ups, demos, retros).

Nice to have

• Experience with London market systems and processes such as ECF and claims workflow triggers.
