Data Platform Solutions Architect (AI): Designing and building reference architectures for big data challenges using the hirify.global platform with an accent on data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects. Focus on guiding strategic customers through end-to-end big data journeys and deploying industry-leading data and AI applications.

Location: Must be based in London, United Kingdom. Travel to customers is required 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Drive high-impact customer projects by designing and building reference architectures and implementing production use cases.
• Collaborate with Engagement Managers and customers to define project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
• Guide strategic customers through their end-to-end big data journeys, including migrating from legacy platforms and deploying data and AI applications.
• Consult on solution design and implementation strategies to ensure successful evaluation and adoption of the hirify.global platform.
• Serve as an escalation point for operational issues, collaborating with hirify.global Support and Engineering teams.
• Partner with cross-functional hirify.global teams to align on milestones and meet customer needs and deadlines.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
• Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala.
• Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark™ and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments and working knowledge of MLOps.
• Experience with technical project delivery, managing scope and timelines, and working with clients.
