What you will do

• Ensure the reliability and resilience of SaaS and hybrid SaaS platforms and coordinate effective incident response.
• Provide leadership and mentorship across infrastructure, operations, and related functions.
• Guide the evolution of developer experience and release engineering to foster safe and scalable delivery.
• Establish clear production readiness expectations, on-call models, and operational standards.
• Coordinate long-term infrastructure and compute strategy, especially for ML and inference workloads.

Requirements

• Experience operating production systems at scale, leading reliability, operations, or platform engineering for complex, customer-facing systems in SaaS or hybrid environments.
• Strong people and technical leadership, comfortable managing senior engineers while remaining involved in systems-level decision-making.
• Demonstrated systems thinking with operational instincts, understanding the interaction of architecture, infrastructure, ML workloads, and product behavior.
• Clear and calm decision-maker, effective during incidents and able to prioritize and communicate tradeoffs.
• Collaborative and enabling approach, raising standards without becoming a bottleneck and fostering team ownership.
