My client is a fast-growing MedTech scale-up (~100 people, strong engineering focus) developing the world’s first autonomous blood-drawing robot. With CE approval secured and funding through 2027, they are moving from development into large-scale deployment. You’ll join the Application Team, working closely with engineering and business to make data reliable, traceable, and actionable. Looking to advance your Data Science career with relocation support? What you’ll do You’ll help build and scale the data backbone behind a regulated, hardware-driven product. Working in a cloud-native setup, you’ll design and maintain production-grade ETL and ELT pipelines that support both operational insight and long-term product performance. Day to day, you’ll develop Python-based pipelines using modern libraries like Polars, run them in containerised environments, and integrate them with AWS orchestration services. You’ll collaborate closely with a Senior Data Engineer to improve performance and robustness, investigate data issues, extend automated quality checks, and translate requirements into clean datasets and clear dashboards. There’s also room to grow into data science, fault analysis, and support for ML and AI workflows embedded in the devices.

Your profile

• 2+ years of experience with AWS-native services, containers, & DataOps practices. Discover our full range of relocation jobs with comprehensive support packages to help you relocate and settle in your new location.
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, including experience in handling batch processing jobs of complex data.
• Strong Python skills with solid software engineering fundamentals such as modular design, testing, version control, and code review practices.
• Hands-on experience with ETL or ELT pipelines in data lake or lakehouse environments.
• Familiar with modern data tooling such as Polars & Pandas.
