Senior Data Scientist (AI): Collaborating with business stakeholders to translate complex business rules into AI-driven solutions for mortgage processes with an accent on designing decision logic, heuristics, and data-driven recommendations. Focus on improving decision quality and consistency using historical data and integrating with data engineering teams.

Location: Hybrid, with onboarding in Amsterdam and 2-3 days/month work from the client office in Amsterdam.

Salary: 20,000–30,000 PLN net (B2B) or 15,000–22,400 PLN gross

What you will do

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand mortgage processes, decision rules, and exceptions.
• Translate complex business rules and domain knowledge into AI-driven or agent-based solutions.
• Design and refine decision logic, heuristics, and data-driven recommendations.
• Work with historical data to improve decision quality and consistency.
• Cooperate with data engineering teams on data availability, quality, and integration.
• Contribute to the overall design of an agentic or AI-assisted solution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist.
• Experience with GCP.
• Solid understanding of applied AI, machine learning concepts, and decision systems.
• Experience with agent-based or AI-assisted decisioning systems.
• Analytical mindset combined with excellent communication skills.
• English: B2+ (upper-intermediate) required.

• Background in financial services, banking, or mortgage processes.
