What you will do

• Own the design and implementation of critical services, ensuring robust data modeling and reliable behavior.
• Lead system design initiatives to maintain scalable, observable, and maintainable services.
• Write high-quality C++ code and advance engineering standards through rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and partner engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve outcomes and system performance.
• Diagnose complex production issues and drive data-informed decisions using telemetry and diagnostics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and its ecosystem.
• Proven experience owning services within a broader production system.
• Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design.
• Must be able to work on-site in Seattle, WA at least three days per week.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with memory efficiency, concurrency, and performance optimization in high-scale environments.
• Background in refactoring legacy code and strengthening observability in distributed systems.
• Exposure to integrating AI-enabled capabilities like inference APIs or personalization features.
