Location: Hybrid, requiring at least two days per week, or 40% of time, at one of the hub locations in Bristol, Edinburgh, or London, UK.

Salary: £87,000–£97,200 (London) | £70,000–£78,800 (Edinburgh & Bristol)

What you will do

• Lead or contribute to high-quality audits across Cloud, Infrastructure & Engineering portfolios.
• Project manage individual audits on behalf of portfolio leads.
• Support control testing, identify areas of concern, and articulate challenges.
• Proactively suggest and deliver improvements in current compliance processes.
• Conduct research considering multiple perspectives and external trends.
• Coach team members and provide timely, direct, effective feedback.

Requirements

• Ability to lead and take ownership for delivery, and champion colleague growth and development.
• Ability to deliver risk and control assurance activity that is timely, impactful, and insightful.
• Ability to understand and interpret Group and Business Unit Strategy.
• Ability to analyse, understand, and communicate data for effective audit outcomes.
• Technical knowledge in core infrastructure components including networking, middleware, operating systems, and storage.
• Technical knowledge and experience in cloud technologies, models, and control frameworks (e.g., CSA CCM), ideally with hands-on experience on Google Cloud and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Technical knowledge and experience in modern software engineering frameworks (e.g., NIST, OWASP) and practices (e.g., DevOps).
• Technical knowledge and experience in IT general controls including access management, service management, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with automated control testing using scripting languages or cloud CLIs (e.g., Python, gcloud, PowerShell) to validate control effectiveness.

Nice to have

• Professional qualification(s) such as CISA, CISSP or cloud accreditations.
• Previous financial services, audit or risk experience.
