What you will do
- Lead the containment and eradication of threats during cyber security incidents to restore secure service delivery.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and leadership, ensuring effective communication and alignment on priorities.
- Collect forensic evidence and utilize data to build a complete chain of events from initial access through recovery.
- Conduct and report postmortem lessons learned to improve the team and the organization’s cyber program.
- Develop training, tabletop exercises, and workshops to promote organizational development during incidents.
- Deliver precise reports and executive-level briefings to stakeholders during high-pressure scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security Operations, with 3+ years specifically in Incident Response and event investigations.
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEMs, IDS/IPS, DLP, and vulnerability management platforms.
- Experience responding to incidents within public cloud vendors (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Knowledge of audit frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements such as SOX, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
- Must be willing to work an on-call rotation.
Nice to have
- Certifications: CISSP, GCIH, GCFA, or CySA+.
