Location: This role is based in San Diego, California, however, candidates in other US locations will be considered. Travel to customers in your region is required.

Salary: $152,300–$209,450 USD

What you will do

• Partner with the sales team to help customers understand and adopt the hirify.global platform.
• Provide technical leadership and consult on big data architecture.
• Design and architect distributed data systems and implement proof of concepts for strategic projects.
• Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
• Become an expert in and promote hirify.global open-source projects (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow).
• Travel to customers within your assigned region.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.
• Experience supporting Public Sector clients.
• Experience building solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in at least one of the following: Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Science and Machine Learning technologies.
• Secret security clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Nice to have

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research).
