TL;DR

Software Support Specialist: Providing best-in-class customer experience for Xplor's software and payments solutions to clients in the Fitness & Wellbeing vertical, with an accent on handling high-volume inquiries via email, chat, and phone. Focus on documenting interactions, educating customers on best practices, and escalating complex issues to ensure client success and satisfaction.

Location: Hybrid (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK), requiring 3 days per week in the office. Must be legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

What you will do

  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries about software products and services through a support ticketing system.
  • Document all customer interactions in applicable systems according to current policies.
  • Respond to customers by gathering information and providing the best solution or appropriate next steps.
  • Provide education to customers on best practices to get the most value from software features or additional services.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support tiers and/or management following current policies.
  • Meet or exceed personal KPI targets for performance metrics, such as number of tickets participated, closed, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3 years of related experience in a customer service role.
  • Basic knowledge of Technical Support processes, systems, and applications (e.g., Intercom).
  • Excellent customer services skills, demonstrated by being friendly, helpful, and empathetic.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Displays a growth and problem-solving mindset.
  • Must be legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Ability to work a shift schedule (15:00-23:00hrs, 16:00-00:00hrs or 17:00-01:00hrs).

Nice to have

  • Background in Boutique Fitness or previous experience at a gym/studio with gym management software knowledge.
