Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Architect and develop scalable, full-stack services for satellite constellation operations.
• Own projects end-to-end, from design to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including space systems and product engineers.
• Develop automation for tasking satellites and integrate with data platforms.
• Mentor engineers, share best practices, and improve engineering processes.

Requirements

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Python and Node/TypeScript.
• Experience with React and developing applications in AWS cloud environment.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take complex manual processes and develop automated services.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python libraries for astrodynamics.
• Experience with SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog (STAC) APIs and web mapping frameworks.
• Previous experience with space operations teams and geospatial/Earth observation.
