Software Engineer Internship

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid: Requires 2-3 days in the office at our Prague location and 2 days remote per week. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as required.

What you will do

• Participate in team ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Work on clearly defined development tasks with guidance from mentors and teammates.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code following team standards.
• Learn to read, understand, and modify existing codebases.
• Contribute unit tests and documentation as part of feature development.
• Collaborate with engineers, testers, and product partners in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Completion of coursework or academic projects involving programming or software development.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with web development fundamentals (client-side technologies, APIs, and databases such as SQL).
• Exposure to at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar).
• Strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Prior internship, co-op, or personal project experience.
• Exposure to version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with automated testing or web frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET, MVC, or similar).
