What you will do

• Lead and develop hirify.global’s second-line data protection compliance function.
• Oversee the data protection advisory process.
• Manage Data Protection Impact Assessments.
• Lead the resolution of data protection incidents and meet ICO reporting requirements.
• Develop positive and constructive relationships with the ICO.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing development of data protection systems, procedures, and training programs.
• Manage and develop a team of data protection professionals.

Requirements

• Expertise in GDPR and the UK data protection regime, with experience in similar roles.
• Hold a Data Protection specific qualification such as CIPP/E or CIPM.
• Effective communication, influence, and negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Strategic thinking, aligning data protection practices with broader hirify.global goals.
• Strong ethical foundation and commitment to transparency and integrity.
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and highly regulated market.
