VP, Head of Privacy (Gaming): Leading the development and implementation of hirify.global’s global data privacy compliance program within a complex organizational structure with an accent on legal and regulatory environment, leading a team of Privacy Officers, and establishing privacy by design processes. Focus on maintaining current knowledge of worldwide privacy requirements (CCPA, GDPR), conducting incident response simulations, and advising on legal and regulatory developments affecting data security.

Location: Hybrid in London, United Kingdom. Capacity to operate in a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days a week in our London office.

What you will do

• Serve in a leadership role for all of the Company’s privacy and data security activities.
• Lead a team of Privacy Officers in the Company’s Global Privacy Office.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive, privacy plan across the Company, leveraging executive data privacy vision and assessments.
• Identify processes for new business and technology initiatives where privacy considerations are coordinated from the beginning.
• Lead the effort to identify, implement and manage appropriate systems to support the data privacy governance framework and data retention policies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, maintain current knowledge of worldwide privacy requirements (e.g., CCPA, GDPR), and advise on data security developments.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school in the UK or US.
• At least 10 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years working on privacy issues.
• Prior direct experience with international and local data protection laws and regulatory requirements, including GDPR.
• Demonstrated leadership on data governance and data privacy issues in a global environment.
• Capacity to operate in a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days a week in our London office.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the job posting location for this position on a full-time basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
